New Years Ramble

It’s been a bit since I posted last and its been a quiet time over the holidays. I know that’s kind of an odd statement since holidays are pretty hectic for people going out to families. I spent most of my time with my boyfriends family and relaxing since work was pretty chill as most everyone was out on vacation themselves.

There’s honestly not much going on and that’s a bit sad. We did make a new years resolution to go to the gym everyday and its not as hard as I thought but it also means I need to keep better track of that time.

There are a few projects that I want to get done in the next couple of months.

  • Paint minis for the Rise of Moloch board game
  • sew a space dress with the Gertie butterwick pattern
  • keep up my D&D game
  • clear out old and unworn clothes from the closet
  • Use up material in the stash!
  • make mini quilt?
  • ok this list is getting pretty long

This is turning into a new years resolution list. It’s a bit of weirdness since I have trouble journaling in the classical sense. Sitting and writing in my journal every day at the same time just doesn’t always work cause it becomes a task that isn’t really therapeutic. So here is where I can put stuff out there just not too out there cause names and faces will be changed to protect those involved.

So new years is always a transitional time as we move from the deep darkness into the light then back to the dark. So now I’ve got to transition myself from darkness to into light. I know I’ve got issues that I need to work on in myself, my weight, general health, mental health and healing from old wounds.

I will make a pact with myself to be honest about what I think about myself, others and why I have those thoughts. I have to know more about myself so that I’m not creating bias and hate unintentionally.

Also. Posting short stories. Cause writing is a bit more manageable as a creative outlet then sewing or painting.
